Sacrifice For the Independence - Seodaemun Prison Tour

As some of you might know, Korea was a colony ruled by Japan for 35 years starting from 1910 till 1945.
During that era, many Koreans were severely tortured and they sacrificed themselves in many independence movements that took place.

You can see a real prison which was built in the Japanese colonial period (1910-1945) to house numerous patriotic martyrs who fought fpr independence.
The pictures displayed in the history hall you will visit will show a sad history of Korea as a colony of Japan in the past.
