War Memorial of Korea Tour - War and Peace

Korea underwent a terrible war 62years ago.

And since then, we have defended peace in the country through international cooperation.

Kwangwhamoon, a distinctive landmark of Seoul, was also affected by the Korean War and is where you can view the guards changing ceremony.

The War Memorial, the one and only museum treating war history of Korea, reminds everyone of the value of peace and the cost our ancestors paid to protect it.

Here visitors can view the actual weapons of war used by Korea, the United States and the Soviet Union.

A variety of hands-up programs are also provided to heed understanding of that "war" actually is.
