Let's Go on a Ma-sil - Haneul Park Tour

Only few decades ago, World-cup park was a landfill for Seoul city, but now World-cup park became famous for its eco-friendly aspects. World-cup park was constructed on a 'Nanji' landfill to rehabilitate its environment and celebrate the 17th 2002 Korea-Japan World-cup game. There are 5 main parks around 'Sang-am world-cup park', 'Pyeong-hwa', 'Nan-ji-cheon', 'Nan-ji-Han-gang', 'No-el' park and it's also known as 'Haneul' park which means 'sky' in Korean.

Especially World-cup('Haneul') and 'No-el' park, there are 2 hills and many Seoul citizens, families and couples go up to the hill and enjoy its great sightseeing. On the top of the hill at the park, you can meet millions of beautiful flame grasses especially in fall season. Flame grass festival is held on this hill annually, during October. Plus, on top of it, you can have a view all around the Seoul city such as Mt. Buk-han at north side, Mt. Nam(Mt. South) and '63 building' at east side, the Han river at south side, the Haeng-joo wall at west side. So, for many reasons, Seoul citizens like to visit this park on weekends to enjoy holidays with their family. Why don't you join us? Let's go!
